Courtney's 8th Grade Fall Band Concert

Grandma Fisher was in town for her band concert!

Thanks for coming Grandma.. you helped make her feel important!
Tonight was Courtney's Fall Band concert! She did amazing! She is second chair fluit player! I can't believe how beautiful she has become!
She is beautiful inside and out!!

Derek's 8th Birthday Party

LEGO PARTY!!!!

I had a lot of fun planning for his birthday. I wanted to make a Lego Cake but with all that has been going on at our house just ran out of time. From the invitations, to the cupcakes and Goody bags... it was a lot of fun!!!

Derek wanted to go swimming for his birthday. They all had a blast and had no idea the panic that I was in trying to keep and eye on them all.

I hope that Derek's Birthday was everything he WAITED so long for!!!

We found out today...

but I had to wait to post it until the kids found out!

I put little pieces of paper in each balloon and they had to guess!!!

We are all sooooooooooo excited for this little guy to come into our home!!!

I am pretty sure I wont sleep tonight. It is going to be like christmas when I was a little girl!

Myth vs. Truth?

Ok... this is one of the many many emails that I get about the development of this little creature growing inside of me!!! Read below and I want your comments! How true is this? Have you guys noticed a truth in this statement?

Hogle Zoo...Baby OVERLOAD!!!

We went to the

Hogle Zoo

We have been hearing of all the newborns that we at the zoo. So we wanted to go and check them all out before it got to cold. Can't really say that today was a warm day to go but it wasn't to bad once we start to move around.

We saw the baby elephant ZURI

That was really cute. We had a good laugh at her trying to figure life out. She kept stumbling over her own feet, had a hard time getting on her feet and love kicking around her ball. I guess you shouldn't expect much from a new born elephant!

Then there was a newborn Giraffe. She or he wasn't sure what it was, was adorable too!

This wasn't the baby.... she/he was outside.

Then there were baby monkeys of all kinds, baby Snow Lions, baby orangutans and other babies but I can't remember them right now! I just remembering that it was crazy that there were so many new babies. Kinda got me excited!

Then a wild and crazy exhibit was the Ground Hogs... I got a picture of a few of them!!!

It was a fun Saturday adventure!!!! I am sure we will have many more trips to the zoo in the next couple of years! It will be fun to see all the animals again through the eyes of a toddler!

HALF WAY!!!!!!!!

20 wks.... yep you read that right I am 20wks!!! Half way through! Here is the belly bump I promised a couple of weeks ago!

I feel like I am growing bigger than I should. But if I follow in my mom's footsteps I will be as big as I get really fast and then just maintain! So we will see! Last thursday was the very first time I felt this little creature growing inside of me! It was an incredible feeling!

LOVED IT!!!

I am on the count down to finding out what we are having!!!

NEXT FRIDAY....YIPPEEE!!!

I have figured out my headsaches, I havent been drinking enough water. I am a HUGE water drinker but I guess not enough! So now not only do I go to the bathroom tons more because of being pregnant... the water I drink doesnt help the matter! I just have heartburn but I am sure it will be well worth it in the end! The other thing that I have experienced is the fun fun fun thing of LEG CRAMPS! Let's just say that there has been several nights Cameron has been woken up from a deep sleep getting his hair pulled!!

OUCH!!!

My baby has grown the length of a banana!!!

My baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He/she is also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel

Derek's birthday is coming up and he is wanting a LEGO party.

I have struggled trying to find a way to make his

invitations. You would think they would make a standard

invitation that was cute. Any of you that is thinking

about throwing a LEGO party just know that they don't!!!

So I came up with this invitation with the help of my dear friend Jenn!

Stay tune to the Birthday cake that I THINK I can make!!! I found this picture on the internet and thought it was adorable!!!

I am pretty sure it is made with Fondant... which I have NO CLUE on how to do so I will just be using buttercream froasting. If any of you have any thoughts are ideas on how to conquer this task I would appreciate it! I may have bit off more than I can chew but it will be fun to at least try. The circle of the lego is made from DingDongs!

I thought it was cute and I am sure Derek will love it!!!
