This is what I would like to be doing in The Eastern Carribean

The place I want to go see with my own eys because of the beauty there is

This is what occupied my time last night

A friend invited me over to a

ROYAL WEDDING VIEWING PARTY!

It was a lot of fun to get together and just talk

GIRL TALK.

Eat royal food and just have a lot of fun.

Don't know what I enjoyed the most watching the wedding with great friends

or

watching all those HATS... and wondering what some of them were thinking with great friends.

Great purchase....

I have needed new work shoes for the past couple of weeks.

I have been coming home with really sore feet and back.

We went to Cabela's yesterday and I tried on tons of different shoes.  Then I tried on this pair. 

I WAS IN HEAVEN!!!!

BUT....

This wasn't the pair that I went home with. 

I had a hard time looking past the color of the shoes and trying to figure out how these would look with all the different color scrubs that I wear. 

 And NONE OF THEM MATCHED!!!

Cameron told me to get over the fact the I wont win a fashion contest.  That comfort should overrule fashion any day.

The sales lady had to me try one a pair of Keen's.  They were comfortable but they weren't the Sauconys.

I went walking with a friend of mine today and I put them on and about a mile into the walk I knew that I didn't like them ONE BIT!!

So I made another trip up to Cabela's tonight and came home with these!!!

I am actually thinking about going back and getting another pair for my running shoes.

I got online and they actually have different colors but they are all kind of extreme like these ones.

SO WHAT COLOR DO I WANT TO RUN IN!!!

Thanksgiving Point Farm

We were invited to go to the

THANKSGIVING POINT FARM

today.

I knew Cole was going to have a lot of fun because he loves animals.

The joy that crosses his face everytime he sees any type of animal.

HE LOVED THE SHEEP!!!

As we walked away from the sheep he kept saying

BAAAH BAAAH BAAAH...

SO CUTE!!!!

Here is the goats....

He would giggle everytime they licked his finger!!!

and all his friends!

We took a carriage ride and these were the two horses that took us around!

Cole loved it!

 Don't laugh too hard at Cole's face... but

SO FUNNY!!!

Thanksgiving Point is only about 5 mins away from our house, and was out and totally asleep about 2 minutes into the ride back home.

HE WAS POOPED!!!

this is something that I really didn't have to think about because this is a subject that is always on my mind.

Why do we have to have insecurities...

Why can't we love ourselves they way that Heavenly Father does.

See ourselves through his eyes.

So the insecurities that I have are....

 This topic has been on my mind a lot lately.

I have been on my journey of my own weightloss.

I am so grateful for a supportive husband and kids that have helped me through and supported me even when I got discouraged.

I just read an newspaper article that my neighbor had published in The Deseret News that explains exactly what I have been feeling and realized about my own weightloss

I am the same person inside if I weigh 200lbs or 135lbs.  I have to love the person I am now.  The next 5-10-20lbs aren't going to bring me more happiness.

I have to be happy with me and my life now!

The next insecurity is...

BEING A MOM!!!!

 Am I doing all that I need to do to raise my children they way they should and need to be raised?

Am I am example that I need to be to them?

Am I the teacher they need?

The third insecurity is.....

FRIENDSHIP!!!

I have so many wondering people surrounding me everyday.

I have some wonderful friends.

BUT.....

am I the Friend that someone else needs?

I need to stop comparing myself to my friends.

So I guess what I am saying is that

I am my own worst insecurity.

Ugh, I didn't really like this photo theme.

I would probably chicken out when I got up there....

Easter Weekend... 2011

EASTER WEEKEND

2011

We went up to Idaho for Easter weekend to spend sometime with my family.

The ladies and the cousins all got together Saturday afternoon to dye Easter eggs while the guys and Derek went shooting.  It was Derek's first time and I wanted to take some pictures shooting the gun but I didn't want my good camera out in the middle of the lava beds.  They had a blast and now Derek is wanting to save his money for a new gun!  OH DEAR!!!

Here we are getting ready for the FUN AND MESS to begin!!!

Cole was totally into this egg dying stuff!

Courtney was like a super star to all the girl cousins.  I wished that there was someone more her age when we go up to Idaho but all the little girls sure love it when she comes.  They way they look at her and want to be her is so cute!  Honestly I think she is pretty flattered as well!

Courtney is getting to be such a gorgeous girl!  I can't believe that she will be 15 years old next month!

 Since Cole has decided that he doesn't ever want to try and walk it was easier to push him around.

He had a blast putting the eggs together and taking then apart again.  What a skilled 14 month old!
