A lot has happened in week 36!!!

First thing first... went to the Dr today for my first CHECK appointment and I am
1cm dilated and 70% effaced

YEAH, for me!!!

He said that the baby is facing down and is low that is another good thing. He told me to expect a couple more weeks but not passed my due date. I am measuring a little bigger than 36wks so he will keep and eye on it and if I continue to get bigger than normal they will do an ultrasound and take it from there. Right now Cole is weighing in as a little over 6.5lbs and over 18 in long!!!
Last week I had my friend baby shower and it was a lot of fun. I was a little overwhelmed at the out pour of love and support that my friends and family have shown me. It is amazing how much Cole is already loved!

I was able to get my nursery all put together but right now it is still a little cluttered so as soon as I get in cleaned and ready to show I will take some pictures of it. I think it has turned out really cute!!!

Some of the things that I have experienced the last 4 wks have been...

SCIATIC NERVE DISCOMFORT... but that comes with being pregnant and also being an Orthodontic assistant. I come home and night and get things settled and then off to the heating pad. That has been a great friend of mine.

HEARTBURN... I am still dealing with that on an everyday basis but that also comes with pregnancy.

BRAXTON HICKS and RIB CAGE FOOTBALL... Cole sure is going to love sports... kicking sports for that matter... either soccer or a kicker for football. He sure loves to kick! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Every kick I feel is a kick the lets me know he is doing awesome in there.

NESTING... hahaha, nope haven't experienced that yet. Well if I have it has been like 30 mins and then that passed. I really need to have the phase of pregnancy return. I need to get so much stuff done but right now, no energy to do it! If anyone knows how to bring on the nesting symptom let me know!!!

And the ONE thing that Cameron has had to deal with and he has be a REAL trooper is my snoring. I didn't really snore much before getting pregnant except with colds... but he has dealt with it for over 4 months now. He is looking forward to a good night sleep in about 3 months.. hehe. The bad thing this week is I have a cold on top of the normal noise... so lately one of us has been sleeping in the other room! POOR GUY, but like I said a real trooper!!

Getting things done...

I have a huge list of things that I need to get done before this little guy makes his appearance. One of the things on my list was to finish 2008-2009 digital scrapbooking pages. Here are a few of the ones that I have finished! I really enjoy creating these pages and reviewing the memories that we have had the past few years. I am excited to get the book done and printed!
