WHAT A HAM

Well I got caught up with house cleaning and getting dinner ready.  So I put on

TOY STORY...

that is his new obsession.

I could hear him playing around but I just thought it was with his cars.

So I just let it pass... then a few minutes later this is what I walked in on.

(DON'T MIND UNDER MY COUCH... GAVE ME AN EXCUSE TO VACUUM IT)

 I LOVE HIS GIGGLES

 I guess it is better watching your favorite movie in a boy made fort!

I gotta get on that fort idea that I came across!

So a couple of days ago I found the cutest idea on PINTEREST... here http://bloomdesignsonline.blogspot.com/2012/03/make-it-monday-bunny-bait.html.

So I thought it would be a fun activity for Cole and I to make while I have this week of Spring Break off!!

Cole had a blast EATING... I mean MAKING it with me!

Then when it was all done we packaged it up and went around to a few of Cole's friends and delivered them.

He loved going door to door and handing them out!

  Here are all the supplies needed...

He was letting me know how good it was.  He wanted me to try.  I tried and tried to resist but he was VERY VERY PERSUASIVE... So I gave in!

Their 1st Ride...

5 Mile Outing

Yesterday Derek and Cameron were so excited to get out and RIDE.

They got up early because we knew that the wind was going to start to pick up the later the day got.

So they got up and ready and hit the dirt trails!!!

We had to buy Derek so riding boots.  These are just some work boots that have a steel toe.

We are going to wait a little while before we make the purchase of a real riding boot.

His feet are growing so fast that it would be stupid to waste the money!!!

Cameron has pretty much convinced all the guys in our neighborhood to get a bike.

Paul actually has a bike at his mom's house... he just has to find the time to get to Denver pick it up!

Cameron said that Derek did fantastic!

They can't wait to get out there next time!!!

JAZZ Night...

Cameron got a txt earlier this morning asking him if he wanted 3 Jazz tickets!!

Cameron jumped all over it.

He was excited to take the two kids to their first Jazz game.

They are on row 19 lower bowl!!!

I don't think I have ever been that close to the players!

I just got a txt letting me know that they made it on the JUMBO TRON!!!

I can't imagine Courtney right now!

I bet she is smiling ear to ear!!!

Then JAZZ BEAR came up and I am not sure what happened but there is a picture of them with him below!!!

I am excited to hear all their stories!!!

I am running this with my cousins at the end of April!!!

I am excited to get out and just have some fun with them!!!

This race is before the

DIRTY DASH..

so it will get me all reared up and ready to run!!!

I have really enjoyed getting out and running again.

(they were on their guys weekend away)

We got up and had green pancakes, eggs and green milk.

Cole thought it was pretty cool.

Then we headed over to Burger King for lunch to take advantage of their free french fries and
GREEN KETCHUP.

It took Cole a few minutes to try the ketchup but after his first days he was hooked!!!

He thought it was pretty cool.

Then Grandma Black gave us a pot of gold that was filled with gold coins and jewelry and Cole has been getting into it daily.

He thinks he is pretty cool putting on all the necklaces.



FISH LAKE

Cameron and Derek took a 3 day trip with Cameron's coworkers and their boys.

He took Derek out of school on Friday and they headed out on their journey.

Thursday night when they got to Fish Lake they shot guns.

All kinds of guns.

Derek shot a 20 gage shotgun at clays

Smith and Wesson 40 Cal.

Browning 380 Cal.

His favorite was the 380 Cal.

Then Friday they got up early and headed out to the lake to start the fishing.

After Derek got a hang of the using the short reel he was pulling fish out left and right. When it was all said and done he caught 14 fish!  5 Trout and the rest were Perch.

Between all his fish he caught he got excited and rode the snow mobile.  He really had a blast!!!

Saturday they woke up and headed to the lake but with the cold and the wind they called it an early day.  On the way home they stopped and shot a

POTATO GUN..

Derek said it was so fun and cool!!!

SMASH JOURNAL

I am so excited (THANKS TO MY GREAT FRIEND CHRISTY) to start this way cute idea of Journaling.

I was the best journal er (if that is a word) before I started my blog.  Then with the blog came the great intentions of printing my blog up but I NEVER NEVER NEVER get around to do it.

This is a way to journal things that don't get into the blog.

I will still blog and it will probably be duplicated a little but this will give me something to hold, read and to pass down.

Something that will show my personality.

A place to keep fun things, and to keep my thoughts!

(This Orange one is the one that I got, but there are several different colors that has different themes!

I am sure I will have many in the future!!!

Cole's 2nd Birthday Party

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY
BIG BOY!!!

So since Cole is OBSESSED with Cars I thought it would be fun to do a

CAR THEMED PARTY!

I found this LIGHTENING MCQUEEN cut out and I just had to splurge a little bit and get it for Cole.  He was so excited when McQueen was at his house and at his party!!!

I made CAKE POPS instead of cupcakes or cake. It was 

a HUGE hit!!!

I made lemon cake with red chocolate covering and yellow sprinkles and the other kind was Red velvet cake with yellow chocolate covering and red sprinkles.

Here he was opening presents... it took him a few minutes to realize that there was car stuff under that wrapping paper!!!

He had so much fun playing with all his presents!!

I think he finally understands the whole present thing!

I don't think we will have the problem again!

First thing he did when I brought the cake pops down was grab one and put it into his mouth!

He had a really fun birthday.  He was a little overwhelmed at first with all the people there but after awhile he warmed up and had a blast!!!

I wonder what he will be into next year!!!

Someone is excited....

SOMEONE GOT HIS MOTORBIKE

For the past couple of years Derek has been saving and earning money for a Motorbike.

He has wanted to forever!

Well he finally did it!

HE GOT HIS BIKE!!!!

Now dad has to earn and save his money to get his bike!

This is both their dreams.

Here is dad teaching Derek the ropes of riding a bike with a clutch.

He has been riding a ATV for a couple of years and is fantastic at it.

Now on to big and better I guess!!!

It just makes me a little nervous!!!



Ready to take his first spin.  We only let him go one house down the street because he doesn't have a helmet and safety gear.

On his way back he did what dad calls "Whiskey Throttle" common mistake for a new rider!

It made Derek and little nervous and shocked him up a little bit but after a little more time teaching him he is ready to get back on.

We just need to get his helmet first!!!!

I think I will become a motorbike widow with Derek and dad running over to 5 mile hill every chance the get.

But I am all for creating memories for this little guy!!!

He is soooooo excited!!!
