First night of SUMMER BREAK

Hot Dogs are ONLY good when roasted over a fire! They were so good!
Then the evening progressed to eating Smore's....

We went to a friends house last night for a BBQ! It was a lot of fun to get friends together!

It wouldn't be a BBQ without a man, his hat and his GRILL!!!

( don't look too close at Cameron's hair, he thinks he needs to grow it out!!!)

I am all ready for more of those kind of nights! We really need to use our firepit a lot more often... so if there is anyone out there that craving smores, weiner roast, or just smoke in your eyes... let us know!

Favorite subject in school would have to be Art and Cooking and Science, is always coming home and teaching us what she learned in Science that day!

She is getting into the whole BOY thing.... and from the looks of it we should start getting worried!

She always has a smile and a hug to give!!!!

It's Birthday Time...AGAIN!

Sushi and Wolverine Night Out

We got together with two other couples for a date night!

It was the guys!

Cameron for as long as I have known him HATES fish... with a passion. Then the last couple of months he has been going out to lunch with some guys from work and he has introduced him to Sushi. Well he still hates cooked fish but when it comes in the form of Sushi... he loves it!!!

(The table was laid out weird so we all got spread out from our spouses.... so Cameron and Pat on their date)

So with this triple date he was excited when we decided on Sushi. Now I have had Sushi in the past and I like it. But I cant really say that I could go to Sushi and order from the menu and know what I was ordering. I have had great Sushi and not so great Sushi so I cant really say that I am a HUGE fan.

I put my trust in the people that knows more about Sushi than I do and I have to say it was really really really good!

The movie.... well it was a good movie but I wouldn't put in on my top 10 list of movies out there! But all in all it was a great night, with great food, great friends and tons of laughter!

Calling all coupons....

OK for the past several months maybe even a good year or so I have been hearing about how you can save tons with coupons. I see it on the TV... and I also know that there are classes our there that are offered! Well I finally have figured out that I want to get on the savings that is out there. I have talked with a girl at work and she has steared me in a direction of kinda knowing what I am doing. She is thinking about having a class and having people over so we can all figure it out together. I have been given several websites to go to and follow and I have added a couple of blogs that I will follow to help we out with this venture. I know I need to get the Sunday paper to make it worth my time. I have been shown how to organize the coupons and how to price match. Now the issue is just doing it! Getting over my fears of being the

"COUPON LADY"

I use to hate those ladies that you get behind and after their stuff is rung through they bring out their bag of coupons. I would think to myself... "here we go with the coupons, why do I ALWAYS pick the longest and slowest check out line. I need to get to the point of thinking "who cares!!!" I am saving a penny and people can just wait while I do it. OK now the reason for this post... is there anyone out there that takes advantage of the coupon system. I would love to get your comments with your suggestion, tips, ideas and hints! Tell me your successes... because that will motivate me!
