Day 4... Snorkling and Lovers Beach

2nd day @ Cabo San Lucas
This day was going to be filled with a lot of
BEACH FUN!!!

This was from the Tender Boat....
When we found our boat guide and got all our snorkel gear we headed out on this Glass Bottom Boat.
Believe me it sound better than what it really was.  You really couldn't see anything below us.  Then they dropped us off at Pelican Beach to snorkel.  That is where they said was the best snorkeling!
We are getting ready to get in the cold water.  It was about 9:30 in the morning so the water was still pretty cold but we were all still so excited!  It took us a few moments to dare get in.  But we all did!!!
Derek was a little nervous because he really didn't know what to expect when it came to snorkeling.  We practice a little before we left just in our local swimming pool.  But we never had the fins to practice with so that was something new!
When he first got in the water it was really cold so our snorkel guide ( I guess that is what we can call him) gave him his wet suit and wrapper a life jacket around his waist and didn't take "NO" for an answer.  Just took him right were all the fish were and taught him how to put his face in the water and breathe.  He even had fish food that Derek was able to shake out and see the fish swarm around him.  We all saw some awesome fish.  Courtney even thinks she saw and "Eel"
The water was a little cloudy due to all the boats dropping off people to experience what we just did!!!

Then we after snorkeling our tour guide took us on a boat ride all around the rocks of Cabo and showed us what makes Cabo... Cabo!!!

The famous arch... we couldn't go underneath it this time of year... the water was too low!
 FINALLY...we made it to
 LOVERS BEACH!!!
They call it loves beach because it is the only beach that is "KISSED"  my two different oceans, the Pacific and Atlantic
This is picture is from the PACIFIC side...  It is a lot more rough and rocky so people don't get in the water much from this side.

This is a cave the is right on the beach.  The kids had a lot of fun exploring it!

 LET THE BEACH FUN BEGIN...
Atlantic Ocean side...

SAND CASTLES...

Derek was so excited to get buried in the sand....

After the beach it was time to get back to our ship.  It was going to start to sail at 3:00... so on the way back we walked pasted this "statue" well that is what I thought it was.  Then Derek screams out... "That is a real guy dressed up like that, he just waved at me."  So we had to get a picture of the Army Solder.  Of course it cost us some money for a "TIP"  .. everywhere we went in Mexico we had to tip.  It kind of got old!!!
He was pretty cool... you had no idea that he was human until he moved!

You can see the guns that he gave to Courtney and Derek to hold for the pic... it was pretty cool!!!

THEN OFF WE SAILED...
Here are a couple of pictures of Cabo as we were leaving!
WHAT A GORGEOUS PLACE!!!!

UNTIL NEXT TIME CABO...
Thanks for showing us a great time!!!
